
Ricquel T. Marsh is the President/CEO of Diverse Technology Education Concepts, LLC providing proposal support to small businesses, Information Technology (IT) Training to diverse groups of people with varied skill levels and various IT support. Ricquel has twenty-nine years of experience in the information technology industry with twenty-five years supporting various Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. She also holds a Senior Systems Engineer/Project Manager position with Capital Solutions Group, LLC supporting various cloud computing platforms and providing project management expertise. During her career she has provided support as a systems engineer, programmer, software engineer, technical lead, liaison, project manager as well as the Vice President of Business Operations for a small Government contractor for over 13 years.
After a 9th grade exploratory class in robotics and circuits Ricquel knew she wanted to be an engineer. Ricquel is a proud alumnus of Morgan State University where she developed her foundation in engineering and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. She continued her education at George Washington University, earning a Master of Science Degree in Engineering Management with a concentration in Information Technology. Education and the advancement of girls in the Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) arena is very important to Ricquel and she is always excited to share her experiences and the advantages of the field.
Ricquel founded Rick Owens Day, a memorial celebration and day of service honoring her father. Supporters of Rick Owens Day collect, sort and distribute hats, gloves and healthy snacks to over 300 students from Matthew A. Henson Elementary and the surrounding community in Baltimore City. Ricquel always puts God and her family first. Her two daughters, both Chemistry majors, without a doubt her heartbeats. She loves to use photography to capture all of the blessings around her. Spending time with family and friends, serving on her Family’s reunion committee, shopping, bowling, traveling and sitting by the water at any time can uplift her day.
Ricquel is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Delta Pi Omega Chapter (DPO) in Annapolis, Maryland. She serves as the Financial Secretary and Chairperson of the HBCU For Life International Program for DPO. She also serves as Chairperson of the Board of Trustees and participates in several faith and prayer building studies at her church, Asbury Broadneck United Methodist Church. Her professional affiliations include Project Management Institute Member, Industry Advisory Board of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Morgan State University, Morgan State Alumni Association and Morgan State University Engineering Alumni Alliance.
