We identify programs to place high school girls and female college students in STEM apprenticeship. The apprenticeship will provide exposure to the real world of research, and IT careers. The students will gain valuable mentorship, and they learn about education and career opportunities in STEM. The benefit of an apprenticeship is similar to the benefits of internship that include but not limited to providing a competitive edge in STEM, developing soft skills, mentorship, and developing their resumes for college admission or STEM career.
